Who I Am

From an early age, I was always interested in technology and how it works. Once I became older and began using the internet daily, I became intrigued with how websites are designed and built. In community college I had an introductory course that delved into the basics of programming, and this sparked something in me deep down that would only reveal itself later. Although I ended up pursuing a degree in business in university, my interest for software never faded.

After university, I found myself unspired with a career in business and thought back to the spark that programming brought. I enrolled in a bootcamp the following year and the rest is history. I have found my passion with programming, particularly in web development. Currently, I am further developing my skills across the stack whilst learning new technologies. The most recent technology that has captivated me is Next.js, a full stack framework which is changing the landscape of web development. My language of choice is JavaScript, as I love how many applications it has, from web to desktop apps to IoT, as well as being able to use it on the front-end and back-end (shoutout Node.js!) for a streamlined developer experience.
